My Story

I began my construction career in 2001 after graduating high school. During the first 5 years, I was a residential home framer. I helped to frame homes ranging from smaller production homes to large custom homes up to 10,000 square feet. I then went to work for my grandfather's residential construction company building custom homes from the ground up. We would do the framing, doors and windows, siding, roofing, cabinets and trim. This is where I truly became a carpenter, as he had been in the trade for nearly 50 years. After 5 years working in the family business, I hit my ceiling and decided to move to Colorado to pursue a new path.  Upon arriving to Colorado, I was hired by Saunders Constuction, one of the largest commercial general contractors in the region. They recognized my desire and potential and put me in various roles including, union carpenter, foreman, surveyor, and project engineer. I was one of only two in the company's history to be placed in a project engineers' role without a formal education, something I'm very proud and gracious of. Projects ranged in size from 30 to 60 million covering all market sectors. After 8 years with Saunders Construction, I decided to take a leap and start my own construction company. Much of my practices were adopted from my commercial background which sets me apart from the traditional residential contractor. I will forever be grateful to these who have mentored me along the way.

An Avid Skydiver

I began skydiving 5 years ago after doing a tandem with a close friend. I was curious to learn more about the sport, so I decided to pursue getting my license. My path evolved into large formation group jumps, and I have had the pleasure to meet and jump with world record holders and national champions. I have jumped nearly 400 times so far.
